Import and Export between Romania and Denmark, 2013-2017

This article provides a picture of the data on trade of goods in recent years (2013–2017) be-tween Denmark and Romania. The article is based on data from INSSE (the Romanian National Institute of Statistics). Romanian export to Denmark has been steadily rising every year since 2008. Overall, Romanian export to Denmark has increased by 23.6 % between 2013 and 2017. Value of Romanian exports (FOB) according to the Combined Nomenclature (CN).

In 2017, the main components of Romanian export of goods have been machinery and mechan-ical appliances (23.5 % of total exports), base metals and articles of base metal (18.7 % of total exports) and textiles and textile articles (14.7 % of total exports).

Between 2008 and 2017, Romanian exports of goods to Denmark saw a 251 % increase. In terms of Danish exports to Romania, the numbers have been more up and down the last few years. Romanian import value (CIF) is based on Combined Nomenclature (CN).

In 2017, the main components of Danish exports of goods to Romania have been chemical products (24.9 % of total exports), machines and mechanical appliances (19.8 % of total exports) and live animals and animal products (14.7 % of total exports).

 Between 2008 and 2017, Danish exports to Romania saw a 45.9 % increase. A current prognosis by Trade Council expects an increase in Danish export to Romania in 2018 and 2019 of 8.7 % and 8.8 %, respectively.
