More than 400 companies from 22 countries to display at INDAGRA 2012

The trade fair is organized by Romexpo in partnership with Romania’s Chambers of Commerce and Industry, under the aegis of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Romania’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development will organise, in the opening day of the convention, an international forum on the future of the European Common Agricultural Policy, where also attending will be European Agriculture Commissioner Dacian Ciolos.

A BioRomania show will also be part of INDAGRA, organised by the Association of Romanian Ecological Agriculture Operators.

There will be nearly 90 cattle and 250 sheep on display. For the first time in the history of the convention, samples of Romania’s genetic stock will be exhibited.

The over 400 exhibitors will display over 30,000 square metres. Among the participating countries are China, South Korea, France, Greece, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands.

The event is the most complex convention in Romania designed to promote the potentials of Romania’s animal husbandry, ecological products and internationally recognised wine sorts.

At the same time with INDAGRA, Romexpo is hosting the 5th edition of the Alimenta international trade fair of foods; the 14th edition of the All Pack international show of packages and packaging materials, machinery and equipment, as well as the 15th edition of the Expo Drink exhibition of wines, spirits and soft drinks.
